The North Challenge Run 2027 measures how many laps runners can complete within two hours. The 2 km circuit at Heenat Salma Farm includes paved and dirt sections and returns through the start and finish area on every lap. Organised by Qatar Ultra Runners, the event offers both individual and shared team efforts.
Solo and relay options
Solo runners compete in male and female categories, with overall and Masters classifications. Relay categories are male, female and mixed. Teams of two and three compete together within their respective relay category, so team size does not create a separate division.
Arrival and race schedule
The race takes place on 19 February 2027. Arrive before 7:30 pm, when the course closes and access restrictions apply. Bib numbers and timing chips can be collected from the registration desk between 6:30 pm and 7:45 pm. The final briefing is at the start line at 7:50 pm.
Racing runs from 8 pm to 10 pm. Runners still on the course at 10 pm may complete their final loop. The prize ceremony for leading solo runners and teams is scheduled for 10:30 pm.
Iftar meals are available to purchase at the race village from 5:37 pm, and suhoor is scheduled for 10:45 pm. The programme therefore includes activities before and after the two-hour race.
