QSL Cup 2026-2027 (Qatar Stars League) is a multi-stage cup tournament featuring 11 teams from the Doha Bank Stars League and eight teams from the Jetour League. The competition begins on 20 September 2026 and concludes with the final on 29 March 2027.
How the QSL Cup works
Teams are placed into five levels according to their previous-season league standings. During the first stage, each team plays four matches against teams from the other levels. The eight highest-ranked teams then progress to the quarterfinals.
The quarterfinals use a single-match knockout format. If a knockout match is level at the end of regulation time, the winner is decided by penalty kicks without extra time. The quarterfinals are scheduled for 19 and 20 January 2027, followed by the semifinals on 25 March and the final on 29 March.
Planning around the schedule
The competition is played at different locations. Confirmed opening-round venues include Al Khor, Saoud Bin Abdulrahman, Grand Hamad, Al Sailiya, Hamad Bin Khalifa and Thani Bin Jassim.
Round 1 runs from 20 to 22 September 2026, with listed matches beginning at either 6:00 pm or 8:15 pm. Round 2 is scheduled from 28 September to 1 October. Further first-stage fixtures take place in December 2026 and January 2027.
