Pink Floyd Legacy Live in Doha is a concert production presenting the music and visual atmosphere associated with Pink Floyd. Staged as part of the Pink Floyd Legacy project, the Doha performance is titled The Door to the East and marks the 60th anniversary of Pink Floyd's formation.
The concert experience
The production combines live music with sound, lighting and visual elements designed to recreate the scale and atmosphere associated with Pink Floyd performances. The featured guest is Durga McBroom, who worked as a backing vocalist for Pink Floyd from 1987 to 1994.
McBroom participated in the recordings of Delicate Sound of Thunder, The Division Bell, Pulse and The Endless River. Her involvement connects the Pink Floyd Legacy project with several releases from the band's later history.
The Pink Floyd Legacy project was founded in 2014 and has included different musicians over the years, with McBroom identified as its leader.
