Shuddhabrata Sengupta of Raqs Media Collective joins Fanoon for a public artist talk at Mathaf. The wider series explores how research shapes contemporary art, with a particular focus on architecture and infrastructure. It may appeal to visitors interested in the ideas and research behind artistic work.
Presented as part of QC Talks, Fanoon is a collaboration between Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art and the Painting and Printmaking programme at VCUarts Qatar. Its public lectures are open to non-students as well as students. The accompanying seminar, led by writer and curator Tirdad Zolghadr, is for students across Doha.
This talk is for ages 15 and above and takes place on 27 October 2026, from 15:00 to 17:00, at Mathaf’s Makan Auditorium on Al Luqta Street in Doha. Admission is free, and registration is available through Qatar Creates.
